We respect your data!
We are pleased about your interest in our website. The trust of all visitors
and customers, the security of your data, and the protection of your privacy
are of central importance to us. Your personal data is therefore handled by us
in accordance with the applicable statutory data protection provisions and this
privacy policy. Personal data is information that can be used to determine your
identity, such as your real name, your address, or your telephone number.
If you view and use our site without registering or otherwise expressly
providing us with information, we process the data that your browser transmits
to us with each request (see below under “Log Data”). If you expressly transmit
personal data to us (e.g. via our contact form), this is done exclusively for
the purpose related to the inquiry or the respective order. We would like to
point out that data transmission on the Internet can never be completely
protected against access by third parties.
Below, we would like to explain in more detail which data we process, when, and
for what purpose. It is explained how our offered services work and how the
protection of your personal data is ensured.
Legal Basis for the
Processing of Personal Data
Insofar as we obtain the consent of the data subject for processing operations
involving personal data, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR serves as the legal basis.
For the processing of personal data necessary for the performance of a contract
to which the data subject is party, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR serves as the
legal basis. This also applies to processing operations necessary to carry out
pre-contractual measures.
Insofar as the processing of personal data is necessary for compliance with a
legal obligation to which our company is subject, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR
serves as the legal basis.
In the event that vital interests of the data subject or another natural person
require the processing of personal data, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. d GDPR serves as
the legal basis.
If the processing is necessary for the purposes of a legitimate interest
pursued by our company or by a third party, and the interests, fundamental
rights, and freedoms of the data subject do not override the former interest,
Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR serves as the legal basis for the processing.
Data Deletion and Storage
Period
The personal data of the data subject shall be deleted as soon as the purpose
of storage ceases to apply. Storage may continue beyond this if this has been
provided for by European or national legislation or other regulations to which
the controller is subject. Data shall also be blocked or deleted if a storage
period prescribed by the aforementioned provisions expires, unless there is a
necessity for further storage of the data for the conclusion or performance of
a contract.
Your Rights
You have the right to free information about the data stored by us concerning
your person as well as, where applicable, a right to rectification, restriction
of processing, or deletion of such data. You also have the right to data
portability. Finally, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the
data protection supervisory authority regarding our processing of your personal
data.
We also point out that you may object at any time to the future processing of your personal data in accordance with the statutory requirements pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR. Such objection may in particular be made against processing for purposes of direct marketing.
Provision of Information
If you have any questions regarding the collection, processing, or use of your
personal data, for information, for the correction, blocking, or deletion of
data, as well as for the revocation of any consent given or objection to a
specific use of data, please contact us using the following e-mail address:
datenschutz@fd-textil.de
Log Data
The automatic collection and storage of log data by the provider of Internet
services (provider) takes place because the processing of this data is
technically necessary in order to display our website to you and to ensure
stability and security. The log data includes the following information:
· Date and time of the respective request
· Internet address (URL) requested
· URL visited by the visitor immediately beforehand
· Browser used and language
· Operating system used and its interface
· IP address and host name of the visitor
· Access status / HTTP status code
· Amount of data transferred in each case
The transmission of this data to us takes place automatically and cannot be
assigned to your person with reasonable effort. The legal basis for the
processing of this data is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1
sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, because this data processing is necessary for the
operation and display of the website. The data is deleted as soon as it is no
longer necessary for achieving the purpose for which it was collected. In the
case of collection of data for the provision of the website, this is the case
when the respective session has ended. The collection of data for the provision
of the website and the storage of data in log files is absolutely necessary for
the operation of the website. Consequently, the user has no option to object.
Cookies
In order to make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of
certain functions, we use so-called cookies. These are small text files that
are stored on your end device and store certain information for exchange with
our system. The legal basis for the processing of this data is Art. 6 para. 1
sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. Some of the cookies used by us are deleted again after
the end of the browser session, i.e. after closing the browser (transient
cookies). These include, in particular, session cookies. They store a unique
identifier (session ID). By means of this session ID, various requests from
your browser can be assigned to a shared session. This allows your end device
to be recognized if you return to our website during a session. Session cookies
are also deleted when you log out.
Other cookies remain on your end device for a predefined period and enable us
to recognize your browser or end device on your next visit (persistent
cookies).
If you log into your user account on our website and select the option “stay
logged in,” we use persistent cookies to recognize your end device on your next
visit after closing the browser. You will then not have to log in again.
Please note that certain cookies are already set as soon as you enter our
website. You can configure your browser so that you are informed about the
setting of cookies and can decide individually whether to accept them, or
exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases, in particular third-party
cookies, or in general. If cookies are not accepted, the functionality of our
website may be limited for you.
If you view content using the Flash plugin, Flash cookies may be used. These
are not recorded and stored by your browser, but by the Flash plugin itself. If
you do not want Flash cookies to be processed, you must install a corresponding
add-on, e.g. “Better Privacy” for Mozilla Firefox (https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/betterprivacy/) or the
Adobe-Flash-Killer-Cookie for Google Chrome.

Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service of Google Inc.,
1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google
Analytics uses so-called “cookies,” text files that are stored on your computer
and that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information
generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted
to and stored by Google on a server in the USA. However, if IP anonymization is
activated on this website, your IP address will first be truncated by Google
within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to
the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the
full IP address transmitted to a server of Google in the USA and truncated
there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this
information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports and
statistics on website activity, and to provide further services related to
website and Internet use to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by
your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be merged with other
data held by Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your
browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this
case you may not be able to use all functions of this website in full. You can
also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to
your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google as well as the
processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser
plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
This website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp()”. As a
result, IP addresses are further processed in truncated form, so that according
to Google a direct personal reference is virtually excluded. Insofar as the
data collected about you has a personal reference, this is therefore intended
to be excluded immediately and the personal data thereby deleted without delay.
We use Google Analytics in order to analyze the use of our website and to be able to improve it regularly. Through the statistics obtained, we can improve our offering and make it more interesting for you as a user. Google is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement and thereby offers a guarantee to comply with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).
We have concluded a data
processing agreement with Google in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR in order to
protect your personal data.
Further information about Google can be found here:
Terms of Use: http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html, Overview of Privacy: http://www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/learn/privacy.html, and the Privacy Policy:
http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.
You can object to the use of Google Analytics by choosing the opt-out option
when accessing the website. The legal basis for this data processing is our
legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, as we would like to
offer you an appealing website optimized for you within our possibilities.
Facebook Pixel and
Facebook Custom Audiences
Our website uses Facebook Conversion Tracking, the so-called “Facebook Pixel”
of the social network Facebook, for the purpose of analyzing and optimizing our
website. The provider of these services is Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo
Park, CA 94025, USA. If you are resident in the EU, the provider of the
services is Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour,
Dublin 2, Ireland (hereinafter “Facebook”).
By using the Facebook Pixel, Facebook is able, on the one hand, to identify and
determine the visitors to our website as a potential target group for the
display of advertisements (so-called “Facebook Ads”). Accordingly, we use the
Facebook Pixel in order to display the Facebook Ads placed by us only to those
Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our website or who exhibit
certain characteristics (interests determined on the basis of websites visited,
etc.). We transmit this information to Facebook and thereby create so-called “Custom
Audiences.” By using the Facebook Pixel, we particularly want to ensure that
our Facebook Ads correspond to the potential interest of visitors and are not
perceived as a nuisance. By using the Facebook Pixel, we can statistically
trace the effectiveness of Facebook Ads and for market research purposes. In
doing so, we analyze whether visitors are redirected to our website after
clicking on a Facebook Ad, i.e. whether a so-called “conversion” takes place.
General information on Facebook’s data processing can be found here https://www.facebook.com/policy.php. Further information and
details on the Facebook Pixel can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/651294705016616. Facebook is certified
under Privacy Shield and thereby offers a guarantee to comply with the European
level of data protection (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active). You can object to the
collection by the Facebook Pixel and the use of your data for the display of
Facebook Ads. In order to configure which types of advertising are displayed to
you within Facebook, you can access the page set up by Facebook and follow the
instructions there concerning settings for usage-based advertising: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads. The settings are
platform-independent, i.e. they are applied to all devices such as desktop
computers or mobile devices.
You can object to the use of the Facebook Pixel by choosing the opt-out option
when accessing the website. The legal basis for this data processing is our
legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, as we would like to
offer you an appealing website optimized for you within our possibilities.
Google Maps
Our website has an interface to Google Maps. In order to use Google Maps, your
IP address must be stored on a Google server in the USA. The recipient of the
data is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
The legal basis for the processing of the data is our legitimate interest
pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, as we would like to offer you an
appealing website. Additional information is provided in Google’s privacy
policy at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.
This service is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain
View, CA 94043, USA.

We also offer products such as personalized textiles and accessories for
purchase via our website.
Within the scope of the order, the following data must be entered by you:
Name, delivery and billing address, e-mail, and, where applicable, telephone
number for queries
This data is stored by us exclusively for the further processing of your

purchasing process results here from Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b).
Payments are possible via PayPal.
PayPal is an online payment service provider. The operating company of PayPal
is PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. & Cie. S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, 2449
Luxembourg, Luxembourg.
Payments are processed via so-called PayPal accounts, which represent virtual
private or business accounts. In addition, PayPal offers the possibility of
processing virtual payments via credit cards if a user does not maintain a
PayPal account. A PayPal account is managed via an e-mail address, which is why
there is no classic account number. PayPal makes it possible to initiate online
payments to third parties or to receive payments. PayPal also performs trustee
functions and offers buyer protection services.
If the data subject selects PayPal as the payment option during the ordering
process in our online shop, data of the data subject is automatically
transmitted to PayPal. By selecting this payment option, the data subject
consents to the transfer of personal data required for payment processing.
The personal data transmitted to PayPal generally includes first name, last
name, address, e-mail address, IP address, telephone number, mobile telephone
number, or other data necessary for payment processing. Such personal data as
is connected with the respective order is also necessary for the performance of
the purchase contract.
The purpose of the transfer of the data is payment processing and fraud
prevention. The controller will transmit personal data to PayPal in particular
if there is a legitimate interest in the transmission. The personal data
exchanged between PayPal and the controller may, under certain circumstances,
be transmitted by PayPal to credit agencies. This transmission serves the
purpose of identity and creditworthiness checks.
We cannot say how PayPal further processes the data.
The applicable privacy policy of PayPal can be accessed at https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data in the purchasing process
results here from Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b).
Encryption by SSL
For security reasons, our website uses SSL encryption (Secure Sockets Layer).
This protects transmitted data and prevents it from being read by third
parties. You can recognize successful encryption by the fact that the protocol
designation in the browser’s status bar changes from “http://” to “https://”
and that a closed padlock symbol is visible there.

Processing in Connection with Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service of Google Ireland
Limited. If the controller responsible for data processing on this website is
located outside the European Economic Area or Switzerland, Google Analytics
data processing is carried out by Google LLC. Google LLC and Google Ireland
Limited are hereinafter referred to as “Google.”
Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies,” text files that are stored on the computer of the website visitor and that enable an analysis of the use of the website by the website visitor. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website by the website visitor (including the truncated IP address) is generally transmitted to a Google server and stored there.
Google Analytics is used exclusively with the extension “_anonymizeIp()” on this website. This extension ensures anonymization of the IP address by truncation and excludes direct personal reference. By means of the extension, the IP address is first truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP address transmitted by the relevant browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not merged with other data held by Google.
On behalf of the website operator, Google will use the information generated in order to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activities, and to provide further services related to website use and Internet use to the website operator (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). The data sent and linked with cookies, user identifiers (e.g. user ID), or advertising IDs is automatically deleted after 50 months. The deletion of data whose retention period has been reached takes place automatically once a month.
Collection by Google Analytics can be prevented by the website visitor adjusting the cookie settings for this website. The collection and storage of the IP address and the data generated by cookies can also be objected to at any time with effect for the future. The corresponding browser plug-in can be downloaded and installed using the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
